Copyright and DMCA Policy

iDocz respects the rights of authors and publishers. Most books in our library are in the public domain, and members may only upload content they have the right to share. If you believe content on iDocz infringes your copyright, we will review and act on your notice promptly.

How to send a copyright notice

Email contact@idocz.net with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

  • Your full name, address, phone number and email address
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
  • The link (URL) of each page on iDocz where the material appears
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We usually remove or disable access to reported material within 2 working days of receiving a complete notice, and we inform the member who uploaded it.

Counter-notice

If your upload was removed and you believe this was a mistake, or that you have the right to share it, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, the link to the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your signature. We may restore the content unless the person who complained tells us they have started legal action.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing material are closed.
