L9 Homework Deep Review — 15 Minutes
This is a DATA session — bring your numbers and be honest about results
Bid Tracker How many total bids sent this week? How many were viewed? How many got a response? What was your response rate
%? Class shares numbers — we find patterns.
Local Business Outreach Which 3 businesses did you approach? What was their reaction? Did any say yes to a free trial? What objections did you
hear? Class discusses solutions.
Referral Network How many of your 50-person list did you message? How many responded? Did anyone give a lead? What response rate did
you get from your network?
First Order? Did ANYONE get their first order this week? Share your experience — what worked, what the client said, how you
delivered. This motivates the entire class.

Diagnosing Your Results — Fix the Right Problem
Different symptoms need different solutions — identify yours first
Symptom 1: Proposals sent but ZERO views
Problem: Your profile is too weak — clients are not clicking to even read your
proposal.
Fix: Complete your profile 100%. Add portfolio samples. Take skill tests/exams. Your
profile photo may be the issue — is it professional?
Action: Improve ONE platform profile completely before sending more proposals.
Symptom 2: Proposals viewed but NO responses
Problem: Your proposal hook is not working. Clients read the first 2 lines and move
on.
Fix: Rewrite your opening line — does it start with THEIR problem or with 'I am...'?
Test 3 different hook styles this week.
Action: A/B test 2 different opening lines on your next 10 proposals.
Symptom 3: Responses received but NO conversions
Problem: Something in your conversation or pricing loses the client after they
respond.
Fix: Review your chat responses — are you quoting price too fast? Are you
answering questions or asking them back? Do you offer a call?
Action: Script your first 3 responses to any client inquiry before the next
conversation.
Symptom 4: Local businesses say 'we will think about it'
Problem: You are asking them to commit without reducing their risk enough.
Fix: Remove all friction. 'Free for one week — no commitment, no payment, no
contract. If you like it, we discuss. If not, no problem.'
Action: Go back to businesses who said 'we will think about it' with this exact offer.

Emergency Profile Fix — Do This If You Have Zero Results
Run your profiles through this checklist right now — fix every item that is missing
☐ Profile Photo: Is it a clear, professional, well-lit solo face photo? If not — retake it today with good lighting and a plain background. This single
change can double your click rate.
☐ Headline/Title: Does it contain the EXACT keyword your target client searches? Google: 'top Fiverr searches [your niche]' or check Upwork job titles.
Your title must match what clients type.
☐ Bio/Overview: Does the first sentence start with the client's problem — not 'I am...'? If it starts with 'I' — rewrite it now. The first 2 lines determine if
they read the rest.
☐ Portfolio: Do you have at least 3–5 samples? If not — create sample work this week. Write 2 blog post samples, design 2 social media posts, or
create a mock VA task report. Fake samples beat zero samples.
☐ Skills/Tests: Have you added all relevant skills AND taken the skill tests/exams? Verified skills show as badges — this alone increases response rate
by 30–50% on most platforms.
☐ Response Rate: Is your response rate above 90%? Check your platform dashboard. If you missed replies — log in twice daily minimum. Set phone
notifications for all platform messages.
☐ Review Score: If you have any reviews — is your average above 4.7? One bad review tanks visibility. Reach out to unhappy clients and offer to
resolve their issue before they leave a review.
☐ Completeness: Is your profile 100% complete on ALL platforms? Missing sections reduce search ranking. Fill every field — even sections that seem
unimportant to you matter to
